Funny how the world works, Josh and I were talking about the orange Masi this afternoon and theories of how bike theft’s work, wonder where my bike could have gone in the 3 hours before I caught that ugly mother returning to the scene of the crime, I return home to find a letter from the District Attorney. Granted I gave up on the bike and was happy to have just stompted the guy into the ground, didnt want to work with the police, knowing their track record, saying its a low chance it’ll pop up and I may be able to be reunibursed, blah blah. Well as it turns out the letter that landed in my doorway was to inform me of the start of the trial for one Osualdo Torriente, The guy who stole my beloved Masi. This guy is still stilling in jail, I cant believe it, he must have had some other shit on him. Anyway, I guess if the D.A. wins this case I gets me some money, which in turn makes me very very happy. Granted I would much rather have the bike and parts back as some of them I wont be able to attain ever again, but its something and Im not complaining. I have to email this DA an estimate on losses, parts etc and it’ll be better if I had some phyical evidence, so im wirting this note to you guys so I can arrange something and get some proof saying I bought certain items from you all, (considering this was a cash build, im not sure how some hand written recipiets will hold up, but fuck it) Shoot me a message guys so I can maybe meet up with you soon. That bike was on the road for barely 5 months before it stolen, and ive been track bikeless ever since. Lets get the City to put me back on!
